LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Arsenal expect goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski and full-back Kieran Gibbs to be available for Tuesday night’s crucial Premier League clash against Wigan at the Emirates Stadium.
The club revealed that Fabianski has recovered from a rib problem, while Gibbs return after being out with a hip problem.
“The news is quite good, we have everyone available,” Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said on the club’s official website at www.arsenal.com on Monday.
“Kieran Gibbs should be back too, he has a test today.
“Fabianski is available as well.”
Arsenal, currently sitting in fifth spot in the EPL standings with 67 points, is two points behind fourth place Tottenham and need win tonight if they are to keep their Champions League hopes in their own hands.
Newly crowned FA Cup winners Wigan Athletic is in a must win situation Tuesday night as they fight for survival in the Premier League.
Sitting in 17th on 35pt, a defeat tonight would see Roberto Martinez Latics joining Reading and QPR as the relegated teams from the EPL this season.
