Bale Ready To Go: Tottenham v Arsenal Live Score

LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Arsenal have beaten Tottenham 5-2 in their last two meetings and manager Arsene Wenger will be hoping for something similar in today’s Barclays Premier League game at White Hart Lane.

Follow Live Score Updates: Tottenham v Arsenal.

Arsenal made one change to the starting lineup for the clash with midfielder Abou Diaby making way for Aaron Ramsey from the side which beat Aston Villa last weekend.

Tottenham, in the meantime, made two adjustments from the starting team which defeated West Ham United in the last outing.

Back comes Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Gylfi Sigurdsson, with Steven Caulker and Lewis Holtby making way for the pair.

Former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has scored eight times in the Premier League North London derbies and he starts today for Tottenham. Forward Jermain Defoe returns from an ankle injury and he starts on the bench.

But all eyes will be on in-form Tottenham winger Gareth Bale and former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann believes it is with good reasons.

He told Sportsweek: “Gareth Bale hit a great goal in the last minute in Tottenham’s last game against West Ham, so it is very unlikely he will do it again.

“It’s good that he has done it already. My prediction is a 2-1 win for Arsenal.”
