Barcelona vs Paris Saint-Germain: Exciting game expected

PARIS (Sporting Alert) — Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain FC will meet in what is expected to be a very exciting preseason warm up match at the Parc des Princes in Paris Saturday night.

Both teams will have a strong group to select from, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Dani Alves, Andres Iniesta, Xavi, Javier Mascherano, Alexis Sanchez and Carles Puyol are available for Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova.

Barcelona are looking to sharpen themselves for the upcoming season where they are again expected to battle strongly with Real Madrid for the domestic crowns in Spain.

The likes of Iniesta, Xavi, Piqué and Fàbregas have recently returned from the extended break, following the Euro 2012 success and will be used accordingly.

Meanwhile, the new-look PSG side with feature former Barcelona forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who scored on his debut for the French powerhouse after moving from Italian Serie A side AC Milan this summer.

Also available for manager Carlo Ancelotti are Ezequiel Lavezzi, Javier Pastore and Maxwell, who is also a former Barcelona player.

The likes Thiago Silva, who is away with Brazil at the Olympics, and the injured Mohamed Sissoko and Thiago Motta will miss the game.
