Brazil beat Argentina on penalties to win Superclassic Cup

Buenos Aires (Sporting Alert) — Brazil defeated Argentina on penalties in their international national football clash and win the Americas Superclassic Cup on Wednesday night at Antonio Vespucio Liberti.

Down 2-1 to Brazil from the first leg game, Argentina came back to win the second leg by the same scoreline to send the game into penalty kicks, as both teams ended 3-3.

The teams were scheduled to play the second leg on October 3 at the Sarmiento Stadium in Chaco, but the game had to suspend because of power problems.
