City goes into today’s game already knowing that they’ve surrendered their EPL title to Manchester United with five games left in the season, but manager Roberto Mancini says his team will continue to try and win the rest of the games to at least close the 16 point gap between them and the newly crowned champions.

Samir Nasri, Yaya Toure and Gareth Barry all start in midfield, while Joleon Lescott also comes into the starting lineup.

Joe Hart leads the back line in goal with Vincent Kompany also starting.

Kolo Toure, who is set to leave the club at the end of the season, Matija Nastasic, James Milner and Edin Dzeko are among the starters on the bench today.

Meanwhile, West Ham are unchanged from the side that beat Wigan last Saturday for today’s match with Andy Carroll leading that attack and Joe Cole on the bench.
