NEW YORK (Sporting Alert) — Carmelo Anthony was amongst three Knicks personnel thrown from an action packed game, as the Chicago Bulls beat the Knicks 110-106 at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.
The Chicago Bulls’ center Joakim Noah, who scored 15 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists, was also sent packing in a messy fourth quarter between the two teams.
The foul-filled game saw 50 personal fouls, nine technicals dished out on the night.
Anthony, who scored 29 points before he was ejected from the game, was joined by teammate and star center Tyson Chandler, as well as the New York Knicks head coach Mike Woodson.
All four individuals were thrown out of the game for picking up two technical fouls.
Knicks’ guard J.R. Smith was fouled out of the game after scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds.
The Bulls win was set-up by star forward Luol Deng, who shook-off a shoulder injury to collect a season high of 29 points and 13 rebounds.
The ever busy Marco Belinelli supported well with 22 points and seven boards, as Chicago went on to beat the Knicks for the second time this season and picked up its fourth win in five games.
Kirk Hinrich had 16 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, and Nate Robinson added 11 points in the win.
