Champions League: Bayern Munich v Real Madrid Teams

MUNICH (Sporting Alert) — Real Madrid are without Ricardo Carvalho and Lassana Diarra for tonight’s Champions League semi-finals first leg clash against Bayern Munich.

Carvalho has apparently not recovered fully enough for the game and still remains out with a thigh injury, while Lass is still being bothered by a hamstring problem and will also not play in Munich.

Jose Mourinho has in the meantime started with winger Angel Di Maria, who has returned from injuries to his back and thigh.

Real Madrid have been in good form in the Champions League this season with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema leading the way.

They, however, face a very strong Bayern Munich team growing in confidence and will look to the likes of Mario Gomez, Franck Ribéry, Arjen Robben and company to lead the way.
