LONDON (Sporting Alert) – Chelsea FC is expected to be without first choice goalkeeper Petr Cech for the English Premier League clash with QPR at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

Cech was forced to leave the game against Everton at half-time after suffering an adductor problem in Sunday’s win and was replaced by Ross Turnbull, who will start this time round.

Manager Rafael Benitez is expected to make changes to his side with Victor Moses and Oscar in line to start.

Frank Lampard was the scoring hero for Chelsea in the win over Everton, but his future with the Blues remains uncertain.

QPR midfielder Park Ji-Sung is set to miss out despite returning to first team training this week alongside strikers Bobby Zamora (hip) and Andrew Johnson (knee) are still sidelined with long-term injuries.

“We’ve got three or four injuries from Saturday,” manager Harry Redknapp told www.qpr.co.uk.

“I’m not going to show my hand but there’s a couple who won’t be fit, so we’ll have to see how we go.

“Park trained for the first time with the squad yesterday, but he’s not fit.”

QPR are holding up the Premier League table at the moment, but Redknapp says there’s no need for panic.

“We’ve got to keep calm,” he insisted.
“The players need to keep believing. I’m positive and so are they. We’ve got to keep working hard.
“There’s no resignation in the camp. 99 percent of the players are up for it and have given me their all.
“I’m still positive. I think we can do it. We need to win a few games back-to-back. That six-point swing can make a massive difference.”
