LONDON (Sporting Alert) Chelsea youngster Islam Feruz is being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge with two fellow Premier League side said to be interested in him.
Feruz, 17, rejected a contract offer from SPL champions Celtic to move to Chelsea last year, but he’s now being linked to Premier League champions Manchester City and the ever hunting Liverpool.
According to his agent Rui Alves, the teen star would rather stay at Chelsea and work his way into the first team line-up, but there are no signs that the star-studded Blues are looking to give him a run with the big boys at the moment.
“I have made contact with various clubs who all want the player, but he is currently at Chelsea and he wants to make his name at the club,” SkySports quoted Feruz agent Alves as saying on Thursday.
“The problem we have is that we don’t quite know whether Chelsea feel the same.”
