Gabriel Jesus of manchester City

LONDON, Sporting Alert — Manchester City and Chelsea starting lineups for today’s English Premier League Game of the Week, as Gabriel Jesus starts for the visitors.

The Citizens started the week as the EPL leaders on goal difference, but with Manchester United winning at home against Crystal Palace, Pep Guardiola’s side will look to respond.

Jesus was a doubt for the game because of a minor injury, but the Brazilian is fit to lead the attack.

He, however, will be without strike partner Sergio Aguero, who suffered a broken rib in a car accident in Holland on Thursday.

Fabian Delph, who featured for Man City and scored in the midweek Champions League win against Shakhtar Donetsk also start.

As we expected, Man City make two enforced changes from last weekend’s 5-0 win against Crystal Palace following injuries to Benjamin Mendy and Sergio Aguero this week.

Fabian Delph and Gabriel Jesus replace the pair in the starting XI and they both also featured in City’s midweek Champions League win against Shakhtar Donetsk.

Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte makes three changes from the side that beat Stoke City last weekend.

Eden Hazard, Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas all come into the starting team.

All three players featured and impressed for Chelsea in the midweek Champions League victory at Atletico Madrid.

Making way to accommodate the trio are Victor Moses, Pedro and Willian and they are all dropped to the bench.
