Chicharito, Dos Santos start: Honduras vs Mexico Live Score

(Sporting Alert) — Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez leads the attack for Mexico in tonight’s CONCACAF World Cup 2014 qualifier against Honduras.

Hernandez and Mexico were held 0-0 at home by Jamaica in their World Cup qualifying game and will try to rebound with a win against a Honduras side that is very difficult to beat at home.

Another popular name and former Barclays Premier League player Giovani Dos Santos, who now plays in Spain, is also in the starting team and is expected to give lots of support to Chicharito, as Mexico look to move up the table in the final round of qualifying.

Carlos Salcido and Andrés Guardado also start in midfield with Jorge Torres and Héctor Moreno among the starters in the defense.

Honduras, meanwhile, will look to get their final round campaign off to winning start as the six team group push for three automatic places.

Roger Espinoza, who plays for Premier League side Wigan is among the starters today.
