Chiefs, Eagles set to sack NFL coaches on Monday

NEW YORK (Sporting Alert) Kansas City Chiefs’ Romeo Crennel and San Diego Chargers Norv Turner are the coaches set to be fired on Monday, ESPN sources are claiming.

ESPN are also reporting that Chargers general manager A.J. Smith will also be fired Monday, NFL Insider Adam Schefter says.

This comes after numerous media sources have reported that the Philadelphia Eagles parted ways with head coach Andy Reid after 14 long years.

The Eagles, though have come out to dismiss these reports, saying that no decisions have been made yet about Reid’s future with the club.

At the same time, despite San Diego ending with a 24-21 victory over Oakland on Sunday, it seems as though Turner is expecting to leave the Chargers after telling reporters he expects the club to look for a new coach.

“Obviously, we’re going to meet with the team and I’m sure they’ll start looking for a new coach,” said Turner.

It is also being reported that the Buffalo Bills could part ways with head coach Chan Gailey and GM Buddy Nix on Monday. Rumors also have it that after missing the NFL playoffs, the Chicago Bears could replace head coach Lovie Smith.
