(Sporting Alert) — No. 10 Oklahoma State stunned No. 4 Baylor in their NCAA College Football clash in Stillwater on Saturday night, while their were wins for No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Florida State.

The game of the day came at the Boone Pickens Stadium where the OSU Cowboys (10-1, 7-1 Big 12) ran all over the previously undefeated Baylor Bears (9-1, 6-1 Big 12) and came away with a surprising 49-17 result. The result now put OK State in perfect position to win the Big 12 title this season.

For Baylor, the defeat “hurts.”

“This is very difficult,” a disappointed Baylor safety Ahmad Dixon said after the defeat. “… This hurts. Our chances of still winning the Big 12 aren’t over, but we wanted something bigger than that.
