Top ten teams, No. 2 Syracuse, No. 3 Ohio State, No. 5 Michigan State and No. 7 Duke, all secured win in NCAA college men’s basketball on Tuesday.

GREENSBORO, N.C. (Sporting Alert) — Top ten teams, No. 2 Syracuse, No. 3 Ohio State, No. 5 Michigan State and No. 7 Duke, all secured win in NCAA college men’s basketball on Tuesday.

Jerami Grant and Rakeem Christmas both scored 15 points and the Syracuse Orange (13-0) hammered Eastern Michigan (7-5), 70-48 at Carrier Dome, in New York.

Glenn Bryant had a game-high 19 points to go along with eght rebounds to lead the Eagles, which fell to 1-4 away from home.

Michigan State Spartans Win Five Straight

Branden Dawson scored 20 points and nine rebounds and Keith Appling added 14 points and six boards and No. 5 Michigan State (12-1) picked up a 79-63 victory over Penn State (9-5).

The victory saw the Spartans winning its fifth consecutive since losing to North Carolina on Dec. 4.

Duke Blue Devils Win

Andre Dawkins scored 15 points on 5 of 7 from three point range off the bench and No. 7 Duke hammered Elon 86-48

Sophomore forward Rodney Hood finished with 13 points and freshman forward Jabari Parker added 12 points and a season-high-tying 10 rebounds for the Blue Devils (11-5), which shot 52.6 percent from three-point range.

Quinn Cook and Rasheed Sulaimon each scored 11 points in the victory for Duke, who now wins five straight since losing to No. 1 Arizona on Nov. 29.

Ryley Beaumont and Lucas Troutman both scored 11 points for the Elon Phoenix (7-7), with the latter also adding severn rebounds to his stats.

Ohio State Buckeyes Secure Win #14

Also on the day, No. 3 Ohio State (14-0) registered a 78-69 victory over Purdue, with LaQuinton Ross adding career-highs 25 points and 12 rebounds, and Shannon Scott ending with a career-high 18 points in the victory.

Center A.J. Hammons led the Boilermakers (10-4) with 18 points, 16 rebounds, five blocks and four assists and guard Ronnie Jonson added 16 points in the defeat.
