Crawford, Paul, Jordan lift Clippers past Blazers

Portland, Oregon (Sporting Alert) — Jamal Crawford scored 25 points off the bench and Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan each had 21 as the LA Clippers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 103-90 here at the Rose Garden Thursday night.

The Clippers were dominant in the opening half and led 60-39 at half-time, but a spirited Trail Blazers side rallied in the third quarter with a 32-17 performance to make a game of it.

In the end though, the visitors bench were too deep and they finished off their opponents in the final quarter.

Blake Griffin was held for just seven points, but did pulled down 10 rebounds for the Clippers (4-2).

Nicolas Batum led Portland with 23 points, nine rebounds and five assists, while guard Damian Lillard finished 16 points and forward LaMarcus Aldridge ended with 14.

Wesley Matthews contributed 10 points in the defeat.
