SAN FRANCISCO — Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors will be aiming for a repeat in performance when they host the Sacramento Kings on Monday night in a NBA fixture.

Curry tallied a career-best 62 points in leading the Warriors (3-3) to an exciting 137-122 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday night and he will be hoping for a repeat when the Kings visit.

During the win against Portland on Sunday, Curry hit eight 3-pointers and said after the game: “I never run from it. Just excited to be in that atmosphere where I get to play at the highest level and do what I do.”

Andrew Wiggins added 21 points and seven rebounds and Kelly Oubre Jr. had 17 points in the win Sunday.

Rookie James Wiseman, who collected a double-double against the Trail Blazers, was listed as day-to-day with a left ankle problem, but is expected to play.

Meanwhile, Sacramento (3-3) on a two-game losing streak after dropping back-to-back games against the Houston Rockets. The Kings lost 122-119 on Dec. 31 and then suffered a 102-94 defeat three days later.

Sacramento is scoring 111.3 points per game this season and allowing 113.3, while shooting 46.3% and pulling down 46.3 rebounds per game.

The Warriors are scoring 113.0 and giving away 123.7.

Monday’s matchup is the first time and only meeting in the regular season between these two teams.
