Is David Beckham Really On His Way To Joining Arsenal In The January Transfer Window? This News Wouldn’t Sit Well With Fergie
LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Former Manchester United midfielder David Beckham is joining English Premier League side Arsenal today, reports in England claims.
According to The Sun Beckham, who is currently a free agent at the moment after his contract with MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy expired, will be training with the Arsenal first-team squad as he continues to think about his future.
The paper reports that the 7-year-old will join the Gunners on Tuesday morning at its “state of the art Hertfordshire training HQ,” to continue working on his fitness.
It is also understood that the former England midfielder is determined to prove to top managers that he still has what it takes to perform at the highest level and apparently Arsene Wenger is one of those bosses.
According to reports, Beckham, who is still attracting interest from several European clubs, wanted to keep the news about him training with Arsenal away from the media, but we all know that was never going to happen.
Beckham contract with the Galaxy ended late last year after his five-year deal with the Los Angeles club ran out.
He’s already been linked with French big spender Paris Saint-Germain, who also wants Cristiano Ronaldo and Serie A giants AC Milan.
It is understood that Wenger would be interested in signing the veteran on a short loan spell, but he’s in no rush to reveal his future plans.
