(Sporting Alert) — The NBA playoffs continues on Sunday with another set of games, following Saturday’s opening playoffs fixtures.
Amongst those that will be in action today are the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Lakers.
San Antonio are in fantastic form this season, and the Tony Parker-led side will be hunting his 11th successive victory against the improving Utah Jazz at AT&T Center.
These teams met four times in the regular season and the Spurs won three of those contests.
Meanwhile, the LA Lakers and Kobe Bryant are expected to have their hands full against a very confident Denver Nuggets young side being led by Ty Lawson.
Denver have won its last four and eight of its last ten and look in good form when holding Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota. Those two wins also came on the road, which is where they will start their Western Conference quest.
The Lakers will be without Metta World Peace, who has been suspended for seven games for violent conduct, but have enough fire power in Bryant, Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum, to make it a challenging series.
Also tipping off on Sunday are Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and the LA Clippers who will have their hands full against the dangerous Memphis Grizzles.
The Boston Celtics and the Atlanta Hawks will also tip-off what is expected to be a very close series.
