Denver Nuggets at Oklahoma City Thunder looking for 13 straight

Oklahoma City, OK (Sporting Alert) — The Denver Nuggets will take its 12 game winning streak on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Chesapeake Energy Arena here in Oklahoma City Tuesday night.

The Nuggets (46-22) have been very impressive in recent games and are coming off an overtime 119-118 win over the Chicago Bulls on Monday to go 12 straight. Now the fast runners will seek a franchise-record 13th successive victory against the Thunder.

Commenting on the streak Denver coach George Karl said, “Nine in a row in January and now with 12, we know we can win and play with anyone.

“We’re building confidence.” Denver is 2-1 against Oklahoma City this season and won the most recent matchup on March 1.

Oklahoma City (50-17), in the meantime, are also in good form, making tonight’s game an entertaining one for the fans, between two of the league’s running teams.
