The Tigers have been untouched so far and enter tonight’s game with a a 3-0 AL championship series lead, following its 2-1 win over the Yankees.

Detroit has certainly win over most of the pundits’ vote to go and sweep the Yankees for the first time in 32 years, but Tigers manager Jim Leyland isn’t getting too carried away just yet.

”We put ourselves in a decent position, but that’s all we have done,” Leyland said.

The Yankees are hoping CC Sabathia will help delay any celebration in Detroit, but he also knows that the batters will have to come out and play their part to help keep the series alive.

“I always want to go out and try to shut the other team down and give us as many opportunities to score,” Sabathia said.

“As cold as we are, we can get just as hot, especially with our lineup and the veterans we have and great players we have.”
