Wade missed the Heat’s last two games because of a bruised right knee, but took part in the team’s morning shootaround on Wednesday after receiving treatment in Chicago the last two days.
He told the media after the light workout that would “give it a go” tonight in the United Center, as the Miami Heat look to extend its winning streak to 28 games.
“I’m going to give it a go,” Wade said after shootaround. “I had two situations that I was dealing with and one of them is gone.
“The other one [knee], I’m still dealing with and it’s not going to go away today. So I’ll get back out there to play and see how it feels.”
Chicago Bulls, in the meantime, said despite media reports, Derrick Rose will not be making his season debut tonight, while Marco Belinelli and Richard Hamilton are also out and center Joakim Noah, who is still recovering from a foot injury, remains a game-time decision.
“Same, just taking my time and that’s about it,” Rose said, speaking about his recovery from his knee injury.
“Been the same way for a couple of months now.
“I really don’t know [when I’ll return]. Like I said, it’s in God’s hands.
“Every day I’m just waking up to try to be the best player, try and produce every time I step on the court, just try to get better as a player and who knows when.”
