Eden Hazard announced he’s joining Chelsea

PARIS (Sporting Alert) — Eden Hazard has finally decided on where he will play next season after announcing Monday that he will be playing for Chelsea next season.

Earlier in the day the 21-year-old playmaker revealed that he had “made up his mind” about where he would play in the upcoming season on official Twitter account.

He then followed later on, saying: “I’m signing for the champion’s league winner.”

This now means that Manchester United, who according to reports were very close to capturing the attacker from Lille and Manchester City, the other team that was in the hunt for his signature, have both missed out.

There is still no official confirmation about the news from both clubs involved, but the player was believed to be worth in the area £32million.

Several Media reports in France are still claiming that the Belgium sensation, has agreed to a five-year contract, which apparently worth £100,000 a week.

Hazard will be in action for Belgium on Saturday when they play England at Wembley.

He is expected to remain in England to finalise the rest of the paperwork.
