LONDON (Sporting Alert) — High-profiled Lille star Eden Hazard has strongly been linked with a move to Manchester United, but Louis Saha believes the Belgian could be on his way to Chelsea.
Hazard, who confirmed he will be leaving the league in France this summer to join an English Premier League club, most recently said that he would be choosing his new club from Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.
Media reports suggested that the 21-year-old, who is looking for lots of playing time, was keen on joining the likes of Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young at Manchester United.
On Monday Hazard revealed “I’ve made up my mind” about where to play next season and Saha, a former Manchester United player – now on loan at Tottenham from Everton – believes it could be Chelsea FC.
Saha tweeted: “I wish Tottenham or Manchester United to get him.
“There is plenty of goals and assists in him. Good tricks too but he s very effective player.
The forward then wrote another tweet an hour later, saying: “Apparently on his way to Chelsea FC.”
Hazard has not announced where he will play next season and isn’t expected to do so until after the friendly international against England at Wembley on Saturday, and Saha was quick to note that his comments were only personal speculations.
He said: “I’m just like everyone. Only him and clubs knows. We, Fans of football have to wait and see.”
