English FA Cup: Brighton v Newcastle Team Lineups

(Sporting Alert) – Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew made five changes to his side for today’s English FA Cup clash with Brighton at Amex Stadium.

The Premier League team, which will also be without striker Demba Ba, who moved to Chelsea this week, has left striker Papiss Cisse out of the squad altogether as well.

Amongst the starters today are Shola Ameobi, who was named captain, Sammy Ameobi and goalkeeper Rob Elliot.

Meanwhile, Brighton, who will be looking for an upset victory today, have named winger Will Buckley on the bench.

Buckley has been struggling with a hamstring injury and would be risky to play for 90 minutes.
