ESPN3, ACC Extra: NCAA Men’s Soccer Live On Oct. 11

Sporting Alert – List of NCAA men’s soccer games taking place, and streaming live on ESPN3 and ACC Network Extra on Tuesday (11).

At 7:00pm ET, the 5th ranked Clemson, which is ranked 3rd in the latest NCAA Men’s Soccer RPI release on Monday, will battle against Conference USA outfits and the 15th RPI ranked team, Charlotte, ranked No. 17 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Coaches poll.

The Tigers (8-1-2) extended their unbeaten run to seven with a 2-0 victory over NC State on Saturday night. The currently seven-match undefeated spell includes five wins, while they have scored 14 goals and conceded four since losing 1-0 to North Carolina on Sept. 9.

The Atlantic Coast Conference program has tallied five clean sheets in the last seven games as well.

Charlotte (7-2-0) heads into this fixture on winning a note after braving out a 2-1 victory over fellow Conference USA foe New Mexico (7-4-0) at Transamerica Field on Saturday.

The win at the weekend sees the 49ers rebounded from the 1-0 defeat to then-No. 20 Kentucky, while picking three victory in the last four contests and the sixth in the past eight outings.

Charlotte is 3-1 in Conference USA play, while Clemson, which outscored opponents 12-3 in the first half this season, comes in with a 2-1-1 ACC conference record this term.

Tuesday night’s game will be only the third ever meeting between these two programs in NCAA Men’s Soccer, with the series locked at 1-1, according to the respective schools Sports Information center.

The 49ers defeated Clemson 1-0 in 2014, but the Tigers returned the favour with a similar scoreline the following year.

As per the data received from sportdataapi.com in other NCAA Men’s Soccer games streaming live online on Tuesday are the clashes between No. 4 North Carolina against UNC-Asheville, while No. 6 Indiana and No. 8 Louisville, which recently took down No. 3 Syracuse, will face off in what is expected to be a tight clash at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium.

The Cardinals (9-1-2) are undefeated in their last eight games, including winning seven of those contests, while the Hoosiers (7-1-4) have just one defeat in 12 outings this season.

No. 11 Wake Forest and No. 18 Virginia Tech also have games on the schedule Tuesday night.

In a NAIA Women’s Soccer game streaming live on ESPN3 Tuesday night, Marian (Ind.) will take on Indiana Wesleyan in a Crossroads League conference game in Marion, Ind.
