LIVERPOOL (Sporting Alert) — Everton and Liverpool are battling out an exciting and breathtaking first half action in the Merseyside derby with the opening 45 minutes ending 2-2 at Goodison Park.

An own goal by Leighton Baines gave Liverpool the lead in the 14th, after the England full-back deflected home a shot from Luis Suarez.

Suarez then rushed over to the bench of the Everton, dove to the ground and celebrate in the face of David Moyes.
