(Sporting Alert) — Star forward Demba Ba starts on the bench for Newcastle United in their Barclays Premier League clash against Everton at Goodison Park.

The Game is Live on ESPN2 and ESPN3.com, starting at 3pm.

Ba, who was the leading scorer for Newcastle United last season starts as the substitute, alongside Shola Ameobi and Gabriel Obertan, as Papiss Cisse lead the attack.

Also starting are Hatem Ben Arfa, Yohan Cabaye and Jonas Gutierrez.

The visitors are, however, without goalkeeper Tim Krul, defender Fabricio Coloccini and midfielder Cheick Tiote for the game this evening.

Everton boss David Moyes, in the meantime, has handed Kevin Mirallas a full Premier League debut in midfield.

Steven Pienaar and Marouane Fellaini both start in midfield, while Nikica Jelavic starts in the attacking line.
