FC Dallas vs Minnesota United MLS scores and highlights

FC Dallas and Minnesota United battled to a 1-1 draw in U.S. Major League Soccer action on Saturday night at Allianz Field in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Despite a strong performance from goalkeeper Maarten Paes, who made five saves, Dallas remains winless on the road this season.

Liam Fraser scored his first MLS goal for Dallas, canceling out Hassani Dotson’s opener for Minnesota United. Dotson nearly secured a brace but was denied by a diving Paes, who finished the contest with at least five saves for the fifth straight match.

Minnesota, missing key players due to international duty and injury, saw their goalkeeper Clint Irwin make several crucial saves in his 2024 debut to preserve the draw. Irwin started between the sticks for the Loons as regular starter Dayne St. Clair is away on international duty with the Canada national team.

Meanwhile, this latest result sees Minnesota United improved to 8-3-5 on the season with 29 points and are in third place in the Western Conference.

The winless run for FC Dallas on the road this season means their away record sits at 0-6-3. Overall, the MLS club is 3-8-5 with 14 points. The the also hasn’t won a game since May 11.
