Indianapolis, IN (Sporting Alert) — The Miami Heat were beaten on the road again, after the Indiana Pacers registered a 105-90 results at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Monday night.
Miami (35-13) suffered a 103-87 defeat at the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday and were hoping for a quick rebound.
However, a poor third quarter performance saw them losing ground on the hosts and failed to get back into the contest.
Danny Granger led the way for the Indiana Pacers (29-19) with 25 points and nine rebounds, while Darren Collison added 20 points in the win.
Paul George added 16 points and 10 rebounds, Leandro Barbosa had 14 points and David West ended with 12 boards and 10 points for the Pacers.
Both Dwyane Wade and LeBron James scoerd 24 points for Miami. James also ended with nine rebounds, while Wade had six assists.
Chris Bosh had 14 points and Mario Chalmers, 13.
Miami Heat will face the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday at the AmericanAirlines Arena, while the Indiana Pacers meet the New Jersey Nets on Wednesday at Prudential Center.
