FLEETWOOD, Sporting Alert – Manager Jurgen Klopp has decided to hand Marko Grujic a first-time appearance for Liverpool in tonight’s pre-season friendly match against Fleetwood Town at Highbury Stadium.

Grujic, who joined the Reds in a £5.1million transfer switch in January from Red Star Belgrade, will start in midfield, alongside Kevin Stewart, Lazar Markovic and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Danny Ings, who scored the lone goal in the 1-0 victory over Tranmere Rovers last week, will lead the attack, while Firmino, who started the opening pre-season match, starts this game on the bench.

Summer signing Sadio Mane gets another chance to impress his manager, following a strong run out against Tranmere, and he will be in the attack against the League One side.

Loris Karius starts in goal, with Joel Matip, Jon Flanagan, Alberto Moreno and Dejan Lovren starting in the backline.

Tiago Ilori, Brad Smith, Ryan Kent and Andre Wisdom are all among the Substitutes.
