(Sporting Alert) — Follow live streaming coverage of the 2013 NFL Draft online to see which of the professional teams land the collegiate hotshots.
News now broke that the Kansas City Chiefs have decided on making tackle Eric Fisher of Central Michigan the first pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Several college football players from top programs such as Texas A&M, Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Oklahoma, USC, Kansas State, amongst others will be in line to see which of the NFL teams draft them in for next season.
A lot of eyes will be on LSU’s cornerback Tyrann Mathieu, who according to some, is the best talent in the draft this year.
Meanwhile, after being puzzled about who he will be picking, it seems as though Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has finally decided on who he will select with the first overall pick of the 2013 NFL Draft.
Reid was quoted as telling the NFL Network on Thursday: “We have made up our mind.
“And it will be a good player. That’s what I can tell you.”
He added: “We are taking calls. We do have the player we like in mind, and we’re ready to roll with him and welcome him into … Kansas City and help us become a better football team.
“But you do keep your ears open, and you listen to all the different options that are presented to you. But we feel pretty strong about the guy we have in mind.”
