French Open 2013 Live TV Schedule and Matchups

PARIS (Sporting Alert) — The opening round of the 2013 French Open tennis tournament kicks-off on Sunday with several leading seeds down to take the courts at Roland Garros.

On the women’s side, top-seed and hot favourite Serena Williams of USA will seek another major title and hopes to get this off to a good start against Anna Tatishvili, with this game live on ESPN2 and ESPN3.com.

Williams suffered an opening-round shocking exit to Virginie Razzano last year, the first ever of her career in a Grand Slam.

Serena and older sister Venus Williams will be teaming up at the French Open for the first time since 2010 and will start heavy favorites as well to take the doubles title.

Also on Sunday in the opening round, Venus will take on Urszula Radwanska.

On the men’s side, Pablo Carreno-Busta is expected to have his hands full against 2009 French Open champion Roger Federer.
