The Thunder came back from being down to beat LeBron James and the Heat 105-94 in Game 1 of the series and the players now believe that there’s nothing that can stop them from going 2-0 up Thursday night.
Once again it was Kevin Durant, who led the way for the hosts with 36 points, eight rebounds and four assists, although he was well supported by the likes of Russell Westbrook, who had 27 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds and Serge Ibaka, who added 10 points and six boards.
Meanwhile, after the first game defeat, Miami coach Erik Spoelstra suggested that Chris Bosh could return to his normal role and back into the starting team.
“How we use Chris might be a little bit more like how we used him during the regular season,” said Spoelstra.
And Bosh, who went through a session with the starter’s jersey, says he’s ready for whatever the team wants.
“If coach wants to put me out there, I’m more than available,” he said.
“I’ve started a bunch of games in this league. I’m ready to go.”
Westbrook is being reported as doubtful for the clash, but coach Scott Brooks expects his start guard to be fine for the contest.
