Girls and Boys Champs 2013 Points – After Day 4

KINGSTON, Jamaica (Sporting Alert) — Edwin Allen and Jamaica College (JC) are the leaders heading into the 5th and final day of the Boys and Girls Champs at the National Stadium in Kingston on Saturday.

After 19 finals at the competition of DAY 4, overnight leaders and defending champions Edwin Allen hold the advantage of the girls side with 157.50pts, following a thrilling day of action.

Amongst the winners on Friday for the leaders were Shellece Clark, who took the CLASS Three 100m dash in 11.92 seconds, the same time posted by St Andrew High’s Rushelle Burton and Monique Spencer, who dominated the CLASS ONE event in 11.59secs.

Rochelle Frazer and Paul-Ann Gayle also took 1-2 in the Discus Throw for CLASS 2.

Following Edwin Allen in second place is Holmwood on 118pts, with St. Jago sitting third with 88pts, Vere Technical, fourth on 80pts and Hydel, fifth on 82. Wolmers are sixth on 30pts.

On the Boys side Jamaica College (JC) jumped ahead of bedtime leaders Calabar to lead with 115pts after 17 finals.

In second place is Kingston College (KC) with 113pts, defending champions Calabar are third on 110pts, with Wolmers further back on 51 and St. Jago on 35. Munro College sit sixth on 30pts.
