Gonzalo Higuain brace lifts Napoli past Torino

(Sporting Alert) — Gonzalo Higuain scored two penalty kicks to guide Napoli to a 2-0 win over Torino in the Italian Serie A at the Stadio San Paolo on Sunday.

The former Real Madrid striker, who has been trouble by a muscular problem, scored the opening goal from the penalty spot after Dries Mertens draws a foul from a Nicola Bellomo tackle in the 13th minute.

Napoli was awarded another penalty kick on the half-hour make when Kamil Glik handle ball in his penalty area and Higuain made no mistake again, firing into the bottom right corner of the goal.

He had placed the ball in the top left corner on the first spot kick.
