Half-Time: Oklahoma and Oklahoma State locked at 24-24

NORMAN, Oklahoma (Sporting Alert) — Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are locked at 24-24 at the end of the first half in an entertaining Bedlam game here at the Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman.

The Cowboys rushed out to a 14-3 lead first quarter lead, following an impressive run on the offensive side of things, before the Sooners came back to outscore them 21-7 in the second quarter.

For a while and especially during the first quarter, Oklahoma State dominated the Sooners’ defense, but the hosts were able to buckle down and get some stop.

On top of that, Bod Stoops’ men began to score.

“I think the guys are playing well on offense,” Stoops said at halftime.

The coach did, however, said his team needed to get some third down stops in the second half.

Quarterback Landry Jones has so far had 25-of-34 completed passes for 285 yards and three touchdowns. He threw for an interception, which cost him team.

Running back Joseph Randle with three touchdowns is the top Cowboys player so far.
