CARSON (Sporting Alert) — David Beckham will pull the curtains down on his MLS career when he featured for the LA Galaxy against the Houston Dynamo in the 2012 MLS Cup on Saturday.
LA Galaxy will meet the Houston Dynamo at The Home Depot Center for the Cup glory – the second time in Major League Soccer history the same two teams battle for consecutive MLS Cups. Galaxy won last year.

The build-up to the contest has been most about Beckham’s finale in the U.S. League, except in the Dynamo camp.
“No, we’re not talking about David Beckham’s last game,” Houston manager Dominic Kinnear said during a pregame press conference.
“We’re not dumb. We’re not blind and deaf to what’s going on around us.
“But our talk tomorrow is about 1:55 local time getting ready to play against these guys, not what they’re doing after the game.”
Beckham has made a massive contribution in introducing MLS Soccer to the global followers during his six-year stint play for the Galaxy and Houston vowed to acknowledge him for that achievement.
However, Dynamo captain Brad Davis noted that his departure won’t be as bad as some may be thinking.
“That’s not what makes our world go ‘round,” Davis said. “I was playing before he came here and hopefully will be playing after he leaves.”
Houston defender Bobby Boswell added: “We’re not the big name guys in this league and we understand that.
“We’re just the hard-working guys and we’re happy to be where we are. … Let the focus be on them. We understand LA is LA.
“I think as long as we’re holding that trophy tomorrow, it doesn’t bother us.”
