Arkansas has 11 new faces on its team this year and all eyes will be on Ricky Council IV, who transferred from Wichita State this season and has been off to a very good start in his new environment –averaging 18.7 points and shooting almost 58% from the field. Fellow transfer, Trevon Brazile, who comes over from Missouri Tigers, is is putting up 14.0 and 10.0 rebounds per game after the three openers.
Meanwhile, Louisville will be looking to bounce back from the disappointing 61-60 defeat to the Appalachian State Mountaineers, despite El Ellis scoring 29 points in the defeat. Ellis also scored 29 in a lossing cause for the Cardinals against Wright State on November 12.
All three defeats for Louisville so far this season has been by one points.
Arkansas finished 28-9 overall with a 17-1 record at home during the 2021-22 season. The Razorbacks shot 43.4% from the field and 30.4% from 3-point range last season.
In the meanwhile, Louisville only won six game in ACC play and was 2-10 on the road last season. The Cardinals shot 42.2% from the field and 30.9% from 3-point range last season.
