LOS ANGELES, CA (Sporting Alert) — Dwight Howard has been active in the LA Lakers’ warm up and will start for the first time against the Sacramento Kings at STAPLES Center Sunday night.
“Most of the time, that’s when you (get) injuries. So I just want to make sure I’m in pretty good shape to play.”
Lakers coach Mike Brown will field Howard, alongside Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash and Pau Gasol, in his starting lineup Sunday night, but didn’t predicted any sort of minutes for his big stars.
“I have no minute restrictions,” he said.
