Israel v Portugal Starting Teams, Live Scores

(Sporting Alert) — Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo will lead Portugal against Israel in front of a packed Ramat Gan in their World Cup Europe – Group F game.

This is the first these two teams will meet each other in the group.

Portugal are currently third in the group behind Russia and Israel and will be gunning to move closer to the top with a victory this evening.

His fellow Real Madrid teammates Pepe, who missed the last friendly international and Fabio Coentrao are also in the starting lineup, as Portugal look to rebound from the surprised draw with Northern Ireland in the last World Cup qualifier.

Miguel Veloso,Joao Moutinho and Raul Meireles are all in the midfield for the visitors.

Israel have handed a senior debut to defender Shiran Yeini, while former captain Yossi Benayoun is only on the bench.
