(Sporting Alert) — LeBron James scored 20 points and Ray Allen added 15 for the Miami Heat to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 94-80 in an exhibition game at the MasterCard Center in Beijing, China on Thursday.
James, who shot 6 for 11 from the field, also finished the game with five rebounds and five assists.
Allen, who left the Boston Celtics to join the NBA defending champions, hit 4 for 8 from the three point range and played for just over 26-minutes.
Rodney Carney and Norris Cole both had 11 points with Chris Bosh adding 10 points and four rebounds in the win.
Blake Griffin finished with 19 points, eight rebounds and three assists to lead the Clippers in the defeat.
Jamal Crawford ended with 16 points and hit three of seven from three point range, while Caron Butler had 13 points.
Three other games are on schedule tonight, including the New Orleans Hornets against the Charlotte Bobcats and New York Knicks against the Washington Wizards.
