James Harden struggling on Thunder return

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (Sporting Alert) — James Harden’s return to the Chesapeake Energy Arena is not going according to plan, at least not for the first half of the game.

The former Oklahoma City Thunder player made his first appearance against his old club since being traded to the Houston Rockets and he was hoping for a good performance on Wednesday.

However, Harden has so far failed to hit any of his eight shots from the field and has just three points at the half-time break.

He his 0-of-8 from the field, including 0-of-2 from three point range, and has turned the ball over two times, as the Rockets trail the Thunder 57-45.

Patrick Patterson and Omer Asik are currently doing all the scoring for Houston with 14 and 12 points respectively.

Kevin Durant has 17 points for the Thunder, while Serge Ibaka has 12 and Kevin Martin has 10.

The second half is about to begin and Harden is hoping to change things around from here on.
