James, Wade, lead Miami Heat past Nets

MIAMI, FL (Sporting Alert) — Dwyane Wade scored 22 points and Lebron James added 20 and the Miami Heat picked up an easy 103-73 victory over the Brooklyn Nets in NBA on Wednesday night.

The victory here at the AmericanAirlines Arena, was Miami’s third straight.

James also contributed 12 rebounds and eight assists, while Waded had five assists in the win for Miami, which improved to 4-1 on the season.

Rashard Lewis chipped in with 13 points, while Ray Allen and Shane Battier each had nine.

Chris Bosh went 2 for 10 from the field for just eight points in the win.

As a team, the Heat shot 51.9 percent from the field.

Star point guard Deron Williams went 0-4 from three points range, but still led the Nets in scoring with 14 points. The All-Star guard had seven turnovers in the defeat.

Marshon Brooks ended with 12 points and Kris Humphries had a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds.

The Nets were without forward Gerald Wallace, who missed his second straight game because of a sprained left ankle.
