Toronto, ON (Sporting Alert) — LeBron James scored 35 points and Dwyane Wade added 20 and the Miami Heat defeated the Toronto Raptors 104-95 at Air Canada Centre on Tuesday night.
James also pulled down eight rebounds and and dished out eight assists, with Wade getting six rebounds, five assists and two steals to his stats.
The Heat (3-2) played without Chris Bosh, who missed the game to be with his wife who gave birth to their daughter.
Ray Allen added 14 points in the win for the two-time defending champions who shot 49.4-percent from the field.
DeMar DeRozan paced the Raptors (2-2) with 21 points, while Jonas Valanciunas had 18 points and nine rebounds.
Rudy Gay finished with 13 points and 10 boards and Kyle Lowry, 13 points in the defeat.
