(Sporting Alert) – The following are the football scores from the English FA Cup games played on Tuesday, 15 January. The fixture saw six English Premier League teams taking action, with four winning their games and two knocked out.
The two casualties were Sunderland, who were stunned 2-0 at home by Bolton and West Bromwich, which suffered a 1-0 defeat to fellow Premier League side QPR.
Jonathan Walters was on the scoresheet twice as Stoke City beat Crystal Palace 4-1 in extra-time after both teams played to a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
It also took Fulham extra-time to see off Blackpool 2-1 with Brede Hangeland netting the winning goal, after Kieran Richardson scored late to earned the overtime action.
Jay Bothroyd fired home in the 75th minute to give QPR a 1-0 victory over West Brom to move into the fourth-round, while Bournemouth were beaten 1-0 by Barclays Premier League side Wigan.
Elsewhere, MK Dons beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-0; Brentford edged Southend United 2-1; former Liverpool forward El Hadj Diouf scored a penalty in Leeds United 2-1 win over Birmingham City; while Hull City beat Orient 2-1.
