VIGO (Sporting Alert) — Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho is set to hand Kaka a starting place in today’s Copa del Rey clash against Celta in the Balaídos Stadium.
The Brazilian has been limited to first team outings this season, but Mourinho has constantly backed the attacking midfielder as a quality player who he wants to see succeed.
“The other day in the San Mamés they played a good game even though in the end the match went Athletic’s way.
“They are worthy opponents and the objective is to make sure we play just as well.”
Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Angel Di Maria and Ricardo Carvalho are all expected to start tonight with Real Madrid looking to win every single game in every competition from here on.
“We are confident that we can win every game and get a good result without prioritizing any one competition above the others,” Karanka revealed.
“We have the return leg at the Bernabéu and so we will do out utmost to ensure that the team turns in a good performance to get the result.
“We believe in fighting to the end for every game and for every title that is up for grabs.”

Real Madrid arch rivals Barcelona, who leads the La Liga point standing by 11 points over the defending champions will also be in action tonight against Cordoba.
Lionel Messi has been penciled in to start and he will be looking to add to his goal scoring tally for the year. At the moment Messi has a record of 86 goals for the calender year.
