(Sporting Alert) — Germany boss Joachim Low made adjustments to his squad for the friendly international against Switzerland on Saturday as he looks to find the right blend ahead of the EURO 2012 tournament.
With several players, including striker Mario Gomez, defender and captain Philipp Lahm, midfielder Thomas Müller and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer – all featuring for their club this week, Low opted to make some changes.
Experienced striker Miroslav Klose will start as the main man up front, but he will have several attacking company.
Lukas Podolski, Mario Götze, Mesut Özil and Sami Khedira are all in the starting team and will offer several support to Klose.
Borussia Mönchengladbach shot stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen gets the nod in goal with Tim Wiese starting the game on the bench.
Amongst those on the bench are Cacau, Jérome Boateng and Toni Kroos.
Amongst those starting for Switzerland at St. Jakob Park are Gökhan Inler, Eren Derdiyok and Tranquillo Barnetta. Arsenal FC center-back Johan Djourou starts the game on the bench.
