(Sporting Alert) — The Los Angele Clippers, Utah Jazz and New York Knicks all picked up preseason exhibition win this weekend in different area’s across the globe.
In their section meeting in China, the Clippers, with star guard Chris Paul back in the starting line-up, picked a 99-89 victory over the Miami Heat in Shanghai, China on Sunday.
DeAndre Jordan finished with 18 points, nine rebounds and two blocks and Blake Griffin added 13 points and 10 boards for the Clippers in the win.
Jamal Crawford had 15 points and Matt Barnes and Caron Butler added 11 points each for the Clippers which rebounded from the defeat to these same Heat in Beijing on Thursday.
Paul returned to the line-up with six assists, five rebounds and four points.
Meanwhile, Rodney Carney led the Miami Heat with 15 points and five boards. LeBron James and Chris Bosh each had 11 points.
Elsewhere, the Utah Jazz beat the Los Angeles Lakers 99-86 with Marvin Williams and Enes Kanter each had 14 points. The latter also pulled down 14 rebounds for the Jazz.
Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 18 points, with Metta World Peace adding 13 and Pau Gasol, 11.
The Knicks defeated the Boston Celtics 98-95 in overtime, while the Chicago Bulls suffered an 82-75 defeat at the Timberwolves and the Brooklyn Nets debuted with an overtime 108-105 victory over the 76ers.
