LA Galaxy and Real Madrid FC meet again

CARSON (Sporting Alert) — Real Madrid will play U.S. Major League soccer powers Los Angeles Galaxy in a friendly preseason game on Thursday night and fans are looking forward to seeing an entertaining match.

The friendly tonight at The Home Depot Center will see Real Madrid facing LA Galaxy for the third year running, with super stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Karim Benzema and Angel Di Maria expected to play for the Spanish champions under head coach Jose Mourinho.

David Beckham and Robbie Keane are two of the stars down to face Madrid for Galaxy.

The first clash between the two teams took place on 19th July 2005, as part of the Real Madrid World Tour. With Beckham, Zidane and Figo in white, Real Madrid easily won thanks to Owen and Soldado’s goals.

On the 8th August 2010 Real Madrid played, for the second time in their history, against the Californian team, the first with Mourinho on the bench.
