Three games were played on Tuesday with all three providing their own unique excitements. The New York Knicks beat the Detroit Pistons 140-110, Dallas Mavericks edged the Golden State Warriors 116-113 and LA Clippers topped Portland Trail Blazers 118-112.

Stephen Curry scored 32 points for Golden State (11-11) in the defeat. The Warriors had won three games in a row entering this game. The defending champions trailed at every interval after being down 36-24 after the first quarter, 55-54 at halftime, and 92-87 at the end of the third quarter.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 118-112 in another NBA score on the night. Norman Powell scored 32 points off the bench, including 22 in the fourth quarter, and Reggie Jackson had 24 points and 12 assists to help the LA Clippers to their second straight win on Tuesday night.
Anfernee Simons, who made nine 3-pointers scored 37 points for Portland, while Jerami Grant had 32 points, Jusuf Nurkic had 13 points and 10 rebounds and Justise Winslow ended with 10 points and 13 boards in the loss.
The game on the night saw New York thumping the Detroit Pistons by 30 points –winning 140-110 with Julius Randle scoring a season-high 36 points for the Knicks (10-11) to snap a two-game losing streak.
